Alan and I set off from Decorah on August 16. Our first destination was Cannington Manor in Southeast Saskatchewan. We have the luxury of more than two months time to explore our way west to the Pacific and then down the coast to San Diego. PLEASE, even if I sent you this URL, feel no obligation to read this. The principle intended audience is my children and grandchildren. I trust they are interested in some detail that others may find a bit much.
We just never know what we will stumble upon! Monday was weigh-in day for the Pumpkin Festival, to be held next weekend. We saw several truck/trailer rigs like this pulling into Half Moon Bay. We need to get more information, but we heard that the prize is $5/pound and a past winner weighted 1300 pounds.
